Yoga is all the rave right now. It’s super hip and you can do a class almost anywhere at any time. Great! But why exactly? And what are the differences between the many types?
In western society Yoga is associated with movements of the body, relaxation and flexibility. In the east it is actually more a way of life. Reasons to practice Yoga are personal, however it will surely help you to become more aware of your body, calm your mind and stretch them.
Yoga comes in many shapes, styles and levels. Club Mondain likes to explore the 6 main streams types of Yoga:

Yogi's see everyone as a beginner, and every class is a new start, share with the teacher that you are new to their class. They will keep an extra eye on you. There is no need to carry your own mat for a one-time class, do always bring your own towel and water bottle.
